White Dog and Steve checked out all angles of the house trying to catch a glimpse of the new solar panels. Only from the front can you see a tiny hint of them; back lit by the early morning sun the raised edges glinted and seemed to strain toward the rays trying to capture the energy. Satisfied and feeling very "green" White Dog and Steve went to the Park for a celebratory "Greet the Sun" run. It was a good morning because it was the sunny first day of finally having our solar system and because it was the beginning of winter break from teaching at the Community College...for the next 4 weeks Steve will be home on Tuesday and Thursday nights and on Saturday mornings. White Dog already has a plethora of plans for the extra "dad" time.

In Russian we would say, "доброе утро" Transliterated, dobray ootruh. It means "good morning", but literally is more of a greeting of the sun! We love the term, and can hardly resist saying it with each sunrise.

Enjoy those extra days with your Steve, White Dog. We know they will be special to you!

Love
Jake and Fergi xxoo
