White Dog was a little overwhelmed this morning by all of the stuff going on. There were shipping boxes everywhere, stacks of wrapped presents, a pile with tape guns, markers and bubblewrap, The computer printer was cranking out click-and-ship labels, and she was trapped on her window perch because floor space was at a premium. After watching for a while, White Dog realized that I absolutely needed her assistance. She hopped down, navigated through the mess and sat next to me where she could help sniff gifts to make sure the right gifts went into the correct boxes and that each box had the proper mailing label. She did not like the sound of the tape gun sealing the flaps shut but kept focused on getting everything ready. A generous and wonderful "Santa," White Dog might also have been a little motivated by the fact that next on our agenda for the day was finalizing plans for her Barkday Party.
