December 20, 2009

White Dog and friends, Buster and Dragon, stuffed from lunch and exhausted from running the agility course, take a brief rest before opening presents and eating cream cheese frosted banana cake at her Barkday Brunch this morning. Buster gave the birthday girl a very soft bunny stuffie; Dragon has reserved his present for Tuesday, White Dog's actual Barkday. It was a wonderful time of seeing and sharing happy times with old friends.

White Dog invites all of her blogging friends to stop by on Tuesday, the 22nd, and leave a comment to celebrate her day. In honor of her friend, Hana, she has decided that in lieu of another party she will donate fifty cents for every blog comment posted on that day toward the cause of Canine Cancer Research and Awareness...hoping that some day this terrible disease will be conquered. This, White Dog says, would be the most tremendous present that she can imagine.

Siku - beautiful girl - what a great barkday brunch you had! We LOVE the picture of you, Buster and Dragon. You look magnificent and am so glad you had so much love today.

What a wonderfully thoughtful idea to donate to Canine Cancer Awareness in honor of Hana. We will join you in donating, and will certainly stop by your blog.

siku, you and your family have such kind hearts. We love that.

However, we are very worried- your front legs seem to have gone missing. :)

We'll be here tomorrow!

We will be on vacation without Internet (my mom will go crazy) starting 22nd. So, could this count as a comment since it's almost midnight here???
