White Dog is five years old today! Born a simple farm girl in Kansas, White Dog has traveled more than a dozen states, visited Mexico and Canada, and has two- and four-legged friends all across the world. She loves a diversity of cuisines and has developed a respectful appreciation of the cultures and customs that populate this planet. She has grown into a compassionate, caring adult who wants to make the world a better place...and who knows with determined perserverance that she will. We are proud of White Dog and all that she is and on this very very special day wish her long life filled with adventure, accomplishment, peace, and joie de vie. She knows already that she could not be more loved. Happy Birthday, Siku Marie, White Dog!

My wonderful friend Khyra sent me over! We think what you are doing is a wonderful thing! My friend Kelsey, a Siberian Husky, was diagnosed with a nerve sheath tumor this summer, and had to have his entire fluffy tail removed! Luckily, the vets at Colorado State University were able to remove the entire tumor, and he is cancer free. We continue to hope that through continued research and medical advances, that even more pups, and kitties, can survive this horrible disease.

Dakota was a cancer victim as well although it wasn't what took her life in the end. We also had at least two other dogs who had cancer of some form. Our parents have both experienced the horror of cancer in several family members as well. We are wholeheartedly in support of all research to find a cure for this evil.
