White Dog must have been only pretending to be asleep early this morning when Steve said that he was going to get up and take someone to the Park because in an instant she was jumping on his chest and doing zoomies around the bedroom. White Dog was waiting on the leash chair before Steve even pulled on his sweats and she paced between him and the door until he was finally ready. At the Park, the first visit in more than a week, White Dog careened around the grassy slopes. With abandon she streaked past Steve and circled him until she was out of breath. They walked the perimeter to cool down; White Dog sniffing and luxuriating in the scents and sights of "her" Park. "The Chicago snow is nice," she concluded. "But only before it becomes black and crusty. I much prefer my environment!" "Let's go tell mom," Steve said.

We agree that the black crusty snow is not too nice to look and, and probably walk in too!

We are glad you are back at your park! We know that being in familiar places is a great thing! It sounds like you were very excited!!

Yeah Siku!!! You are totally back to your routine and I am so happy for you! You're right about that Chicago snow - mom says it's fine for the first few hours, but then it gets yucky! I've never been in snow, but the rain is up to my belly outside right now!

Love,
Prinnie

No park for us for a LONG time. It's been raining for days now and this afternoon, there were tornado warnings. I'll even take black crusty snow.

But of course we hear everything. We only react to the things that matter.
