White Dog wasn't home when Dragon arrived for our usual Sunday "post yoga" get-together. The little guy wildly ran through the house checking for his fluffy white friend. He went outside and scoured the yard, walked through the agility course, and even looked under the deck. No White Dog. He came back inside and searched once again...under the couch, in the bedroom, back by Arvo, the Bearded Dragon. "Where is she?" he squeaked to his parents jumping on Candace's lap to look out of the front window. Still not finding White Dog, Dragon sat in the middle of the room thinking. Then a light dawned...you could see it on his face. He rushed over to White Dog's blanket on the hearth, plopped down and wrapped his paws around the giant bone Isis sent White Dog as a Christmas gift. He was munching away when White Dog returned with Steve and the Viet Namese carryout for lunch. She took one look at him, remembered her manners long enough to greet Gregg and Candace, then went over to bat Dragon on the head and reclaim her "stuff." Ahhhh, it is good to be back in the normal (sunny) NM routine!

hey Siku Marie,
That Dragon is a sneaky one! Smart, too! I think I would have done the same - hey, a bone is a bone! How kind of you to be patient and greet your guests before giving Dragon a scolding for eating your bone! I hope you two had fun the rest of the day!
Suka
Ha, - too funny. At least Dragon was smart enough to check everywhere before making a move on the bone.
Woos, Phantom and Thunder
I bet that was something to see!
Thanks fur sharing the mental image of Dragon darting here and there!
Hope lunch was good!

Hi Siku - maybe I should try those paw smacks on Oliver. He thinks, "What's mine is mine and what's yours is mine too." ALL THE TIME !!!
Hugs and yips,
Cappy
hey Siku Marie,
I am so happy you had sunshine! So did I! I am also happy you enjoyed all that the sun has to offer. I got into big trouble so my day was not as good as yours. Will I ever learn?
Cheers,
Suka
I would have loved to see that.. It was a case of when the cats away or rather the dogs away.. lol. I bet White dog soon restored order.. Hugs GJ x
Sounds like that would have been fun to see.
Now we know. The sun is shining again.
Good!
Love
