White Dog was very happy when we opened the long anticipated package and discovered that the Siku Army of White Dogs was once again complete. Some may remember that Dragon-brat had eaten the face and leg of the resting Eskie and it took quite some time to find a replacement. The fine folks at www.FireBirdArts.com placed a special order to get a new one but we had to wait until it was handcrafted and shipped from overseas. Needless to say, White Dog has chosen the highest point in the living room to display them (and to avoid another Dragonning)!
Casper D Dog's very talented mom made this special dollie that is stuffed with White Dog's own fur (and a little of Casper's for friendship). If you biggify the first photo, you can see that the dollie is embroidered with White Dog's name and a lovely little flower on the tummy). White Dog likes cuddling with the doll because it smells like her friend, but we have agreed that it is not a play toy but rather a treasured keepsake.

White Dog has decided that her special dollie (after making sure that everyone sees and admires it up close) officially will be carefully placed in shadow box to keep it clean and hung over the bed right next to her favorite photo portrait taken by Steve.
White Dog really wants to thank her BFF, Prinnie, and our heart family in California for the wonderful Gotcha Day presents that they sent. Gotcha Chimp is the perfect playmate for tug and fetch with Steve. She refuses to allow Michael to actually touch it but happily brings it over so that he can see and admire it. Flamingo's long rope legs are ideal for gripping and swinging the entire bird wildly around in her "kill it" dance. She is quite the sight chacha-ing in a circle as flamingo gets slammed left and right and to the ground...pink and white swirling and twirling. And, White Dog says, who can do anything but swoon over chicken jerky and beef and carrot chew treats...delicious! Along with the fine bones Richard, dad, and Michael gave her, there are enough goodies and play things to share with any friends that might drop by (hint, hint!)! We don't have snow but the food is always good and we can play on the agility course...AND we have lots of neighborhood c-a-t-s to tease.

hey Siku Marie,

Your Siku Army of White Dogs is the most adorable thing I have seen! Love them! And you are very smart to put them high so Dragon won't be able to chew them up again.

I also love your pillow from Casper D Dog's mom. So cute! I think it will look so pretty in a shadow box. What a lovely keepsake!

Finally, your BFF Prinnie sent you some amazing Gotcha Day gifts! No wonder she is your BFF! What a pawsome fun box of gifts to open, and even gifts to eat!

Enjoy all your wonderful toys and treats and special gifts!

How wonderful to have the Army complete and now safely tucked away from the Dragon. That doily is very nice, a great treasure for you to cherish.

All those tiny Eskies are adorable. Mom said it makes her want to have little Eskie puppies running around the house.

Oliver and I aren't too crazy about that idea.

Hugs and yips,
Cappy

Hi beautiful girl (I call you BFF, but you know how mom is - she calls you that all the time, so I thought I'd give it a try). Your pretend eskies are just perfect. You are wise to de-dragon-zone them. Sometimes excitement is just too much and as well-intentioned as he may be (ok, I'm cutting him ALOT of slack here), he might have an accident and chomp an ear off if they aren't placed safely out of reach.

Your mini Siku doll is sooo cool! As a result of yours, mommy has promised tons of brushing so that she can collect my hair for that very talented lady to make me one too!! Just like you, my BFF!

Brother and I are glad you liked Chimp. M O M picked out Famingo - sorry about that! (eskie eyes are rolling).

Love you,
Prinnie

We totally understand the strategic placement that the humans seem to decide upon for some of the wheeled and wheeless lookalikes. They are up on the mantel, clearly out of our reach, peering down and tempting us with their smiles.

We understand, though, they it is for everyone's good.

Does Michael like the new family members?

Wow! So many treasures for you Siku. That is an awesome army you have. Mommie thinks keeping your dollie in a shadow box is a great idea.
