AFTER

BEFORE

White Dog barked her instructions out the window of the car as Steve and Quinn walked into the Groomer's this morning: "Don't embarrass me, for dog's sake, these are my friends!" "Don't act like a big baby and whine and shake!" "And PLEASE don't pee on anyone, or thing!"

She turned to me, "Lord knows Stinky Boy needs this Grooming but do you really think he will be OK? I guess I would not want him to be scared or think that we were not coming back for him!"

"Quinn will be fine," I reassured her as White Dog stood craning her neck trying to see inside the shop. "It won't be as easy for him as it is for you because you have been doing this your entire life...and Quinn, well, this might just be his first time ever!"

White Dog watched and waited at her window perch all morning. When Steve pulled up with Quinn in the car at lunchtime, she was excited until they got in the door. Then she played it cool..."Hey 'Bro, you clean up well," she said as she hopped down and sniffed Quinn. "And you hardly stink at all!"

The transformation was amazing! Not only was Quinn clean and fluffy and trimmed and sweet smelling; he seemed to exude more confidence. He actually scampered around the house in a sort of zoomie and graced us all with a beautiful Eskie smile. Michael took Quinn for a walk just to show him off to the neighbors; White Dog rolled her eyes and concluded "at least he doesn't look like he needs to be decontaminated anymore!" "Be nice, catty one," I warned. "You don't have to get insulting," she sniffed.
