White Dog went with Steve to the nursery to pick up a few more plants for the yard. She was such a perfect little helper, staying on the paths and sitting patiently as Steve went through the pots in search of just the right speciman of each plant-type he wanted. Sitting in the little wagon the nursery provides to gather your purchases, surrounded by the flowering sage and day lilies, White Dog looked posed for a calendar shot, and of course, got more than a few passing pats and greetings. When they returned home, White Dog yipped to Quinn to come out to see the new flowers. He went out, sniffed all the pots. He gave White Dog one of those "You called me all the way out here to look at...flowers?" looks and apparently disappointed, came back in headed right for his food bowl.

White Dog redeemed herself in his eyes later this evening when she yipped to Quinn to come out and help her reach the rib bones left on the counter awaiting cleanup. THEN he gave her one of those "I love you sister! You are so wonderful" looks and apparently very happy, snagged a bone and dashed out of the dog door...closely followed by White Dog who carried her own!

Hi Everyone – Happy gardening. My Mom and Dad also went to the nursery today.

Planting day is tomorrow. Hopefully, pictures will be posted on my blog. Dad’s lucky to have great helpers like us. Oliver is great at irrigating.

Siku, you probably looked like a princess sitting in the wagon surrounded by flowers.

Hugs and yips,

Cappy and Oliver

Funny, but The Herd is rarely invited on shopping trips. Something about the chaos created is distracting.

Sounds like there is going to be some serious gardening going on at your place and white dog will make a superb helper. I smiled very widely at the thought of the bone snatch.. Partners in crime.. MOL.. HUgs GJ xx

Mom says she doesn't think we will have much of any flowers to see in the backyard this year - Ciara has her own fashion of gardening:( Bet yours will be beautiful.

Hey BFF - Geez, brothers, hu??? I know the challenges dear one. I don't say it often, but I really do like my Digby, and I think some day, you may just say out loud that you like Quinn too. I heard him whisper in the stars a few nights ago that he REALLY likes you and is so grateful for all you are teaching him.

Love you,

Prinnie
