April 2, 2010

White Dog went to the Park early this morning with Steve but I heard them come back rather quickly. When they rejoined me in bed, White Dog cuddled tightly against me and I noticed her bottom had been freshly bathed. Steve explained that she had been struck by "tummy glicks" and looseness at the the Park and that she still wasn't feeling well.

I wrapped my poor baby girl in my arms and stroked her side. Quinn put paws up on the bed to check on his sister but was warned off by her growl; he chose to lie on the floor bedside to keep his watch. White Dog slept most of the morning but got up to say "hello" to Adam and to drink water before retiring back to the bed. Later, with her pressed against my side, we checked emails on the laptop and I read the latest animal news out loud for her amusement.

On Ben's blog we found this great quote by Cheryl Zuccaro : “It came to me that every time I lose a dog they take a piece of my heart with them. And every new dog who comes into my life gifts me with a piece of their heart. If I live long enough, all the components of my heart will be dog, and I will become as generous and loving as they are.” I whispered, "Perritto blanco de mi corazon," as I smiled down at my sleeping angel.

Hi Sue,

Sorry to leave an unrelated comment here, but I don't have any actual contact info for you.

You bought a ticket to our presentation of Chris Jonas' GARDEN (an immersive multi-media string quartet concert) in May. The date on the ticket is wrong and we would like to make sure you get the correct info and can make it to the show.

Can you please contact me at neal@ampconcerts.org?

Thanks!

neal

Hey BFF: Sorry you're not feeling well! My belly gets a little "off" from time to time, so I do understand! That quote is perfect! My mom said that she really really loves it!

Take care my friend - I love and miss you!
