White Dog (and now Quinn as well) both generally deem Mondays to be a day of rest after the increased physical activity and social interactions of the weekend. A good portion of the day is set aside for napping and rejuvenation and the rest, at least in Quinn's case, for eating. White Dog managed to muster enough energy to greet the mailman in her usual effusive way but totally missed the man in brown making a delivery. She was quite annoyed with he brother's insistence on pestering Milo, our 4-1/2' long three-legged iguana.

As the weather has warmed Milo has become more active and is venturing down from her perch. White Dog knows Milo's routine and is unfazed by the sounds coming from the office in the warm afternoon. She also knows that the iguana's swinging tail packs a mean wallop when she is provoked. The OTHER White Dog is not familiar with the lizard's defense and has been fascinated by her activity. When he hears her, he rushes into the room and wants to get close and sniff...he remains calm and gentle so we don't think it is a hunt thing but are being cautious in following Quinn into the room to supervise. Of course, White Dog, the trainer, must come along to oversee his behavior and make modification suggestions as needed. When faced by the Inquisition, Quinn generally turns and heads out of the room...only to return once everyone gets settled back into whatever they were doing before. His best lesson, if he presses, will be from Milo herself when she whaps him with her tail!

You are so right! Mondays are the pawfect day to catch up on rest from the weekend. It's so cool that Siku and Quinn both get along with Milo so well.:)

I think that on Monday even the cats rest because they are more up on the weekends when we are at home.

And yes, unfortunately Quinn will probably have to learn the hard way that Milo is not a toy - that is always the way it goes!

I think Quinn is wondering what on earth it is.. He will indeed learn the hard way if the tail were to wack him.. Poor Quinn.. Hugs GJ xx

Thank you for your healing vibes. Charlie was operated yesterday. As we have suspected stones were found in his bladder, blocking his urinary tract. Hoping for his fast recovery.

Silly us, we have to repost our comment - sometimes the best way to learn is the hard way but we hope Quinn figures it out before the big whop!

Mondays are great napping days here too.
