White Dog has not in the training of Quinn lost sight of her original task of overseeing Michael's development within our family. Today she sat at her window and barked at the neighbor cat sitting it in the driveway. Michael was in his room downstairs; Quinn and I were exercising. I know her "get out of here cat!" bark and ignored her relentless chant. Quinn looked at me and shrugged as he settled on the floor to watch my progress. White Dog continued to bark as the cat continued to bathe itself on the drive. We heard Michael climb up the stairs and listened as he asked, "What is it?" He came into the room and wondered what White Dog was so vocal about. "Cat!" Quinn grunted. Michael went back to White Dog and checked. The cat was still there. The front door opened. Moments later, Michael's voice floated back to us, "Is that better? I chased that cat away!" White Dog licked his hand and allowed him to give her a gentle tummy rub; then she dismissed him back to his room and she settled herself on her pillow to continue the watch.

Good for Michael! Good for Siku! Good for Quinn! There was a clear beginning and complete ending to each of their moments of the day. We think that brings a real sense of satisfaction. Each in their own way. All with a bit of cooperation.

That's sort of how it's going here at our house, too. Remarkably so.

Feeling good

Hi everyone - the nerve of that cat sitting in your driveway !!!

Ollie and I would have chased him for you.

However, if it had been in our driveway, Mom would have rushed out with food and water for him. She LOVES cats.

Hugs and yips,
Cappy

Well, as cats we can understand how unnerving it can be when an intruder cat is in your territory - so we are glad that Michael was able to help set things right. The nerve of the intruder cat!

Wow, Siku, you have your family trained. Things aren't well in the Eskie part of our little family. Do y'all know of a good rescue that has Eskie puppies.

Well Siku, you've trained Michael beautifully. Do you think you could come over and help me train the foster kid? When there is a cat on our back fence, she doesn't even see it....Helloooo!!! Kids!!

Love you my Bff,
Prinnie
