White Dog and I always get a special thrill when the blogging community joins forces to accomplish a goal. It is such an awesome powerful wave that washes around the world to right a wrong, to deliver healing strength, to comfort and alleviate pain, and to change the world!Collectively dogs, cats and humans can--and have many times in our blogworld--joined paws and made miracles. We are always so proud to be a part of such a great group of caring, compassionate, sharing and loving fellow beings. While Ben has not it made it "official" yet, White Dog is fairly certain that thanks to so many of you spreading the word and leaving a comment (or two or twenty) that we have met his family's challenge of 500 comments before April 10th. And now thanks to Ben and his big-hearted, generous family the wave will wash over lots of rescue dogs in need of care and forever homes...providing vital capital to feed, transport, and house those in need. Momma tears up and I cuddle tightly against her as she whispers, "Everytime I feel there is no hope or nobility to be found, I need only look here in our own backyard to be reminded that there is an abundance of everyday heroes quietly making a difference."

So instead of White Dog's nightly reminder to visit Ben and leave a comment (and it seems very strange not to do that), we will close with this...
