White Dog went to the Groomer today which we thought was fortuitous in light of the mystery snout stripe that appeared last night. "Good," we said to her this morning, "the girls there will clean you up and make you bright and fluffy white again!"
White Dog came home much fluffier and smelling sweet and was even whiter...everywhere but across her muzzle. If you look closely you will see that she is still banded in black like football players who use smudge to cut the glare from their eyes (only further down). Only White Dog doesn't play football and we have offered many times to buy her doggles to keep the sun out of her eyes.
Steve asked the Groomer what she thought the stripe was. "Darn if I know," she replied, "but nothing we use here could remove it!" So the mystery continues and White Dog bears the mark of her mischief, apparently, until it fades naturally or grows out.
