White Dog and Quinn supervised the grilling of Italian sausage for tonight's dinner. One on each side of the grill both sat sniffing and waiting. Every few minutes White Dog would come in to remind Steve (who was making pasta with fresh vegggies and olive oil) that it was time to turn the meat. Quinn stalwartly remained on guard while she kept things running smoothly. Michael came up and asked, "where is everybody?" I told him Steve was grilling in the yard and that both White Dogs were with him. Next thing I knew, he had joined the pack of eager anticipatory faces encircling the Weber.
P.S. We just learned after posting that Mack, a wonderful Eskie gentledog, of Mack and Sally Ann, has crossed the Bridge. He has been ill for some time and was not getting well. His wonderful selfless mom made the hardest decision any of us ever have to make regarding our four-legged loves. Please stop by and offer support and love. Run free, my friend, forever young and painfree.

hey Siku Marie and Quinn,
Sounds like you two had a great job tonight, snoopervising the grill for the humans! So, did any sausages happen to "accidentally" fall off the grill and into your mouths?
Happy Eating!
Suka

Sausage is yummy!
I'm sorry about your friend, Mack. I'll go visit and show some love.
Hugs
Bet those sausages were really good - we think we smelled them all the way here.
We were very sorry to hear about the passing of Mack - just too many.
Woos - Phantom, Thunder, and Ciara
Oh it sounds like a very tasty evening at your place! And it is great that both White Dogs were doing their part!
And we are very sorry to hear about Mack having to go to the bridge - we didn't know him but we know how hard it has to be for his family. We are sending them lots of comforting purrs and prayers to Mack's family.
I think I can smell the yummy food all the way in Minnesota!
Grill season on the best.
Very sorry to hear about your friend. :(
Oh, my BFF! Italian Sausage grilling in the warm spring air is the BEST, except maybe when mom grills us our very own hamburgers! You are a wonderful organizer, just like your mom!
We were sad too when we heard about Mack, but know he is running pain free for the first time in a long time. It's still a sad day when one of us White Dogs.
I'm hugging you, my Siku. I love you,
Prinnie
