White Dog and The Other White Dog were awake and at the door to greet Dragon when he arrived at 6:30 am to begin his stay at the White Dog Ranch. Gregg and Candace decided last night that they needed "just one more night to cuddle" with him before they headed back to the Midwest so they dropped him off on their way to the airport this morning.

Breakfast was served in the kitchen...a light repast of cottage cheese and kibble...and then all sprawled out for post breakfast napping. Michael came home from school and filled us with tales of his bowling field trip as we ate lunch. Then Dragon received the Special Michael VIP Tour of the neighborhood.

Following heat of the day noshing on chewies and napping, Quinn took Dragon out to the yard for some "boy play"--madly dashing about and barking over nothing. White Dog supervised from the deck.

White Dog magnanimously allowed Dragon to take the afternoon watch out of "her" window so he could feel the rhythm and get a different perspective of our corner of the world. After, Michael and Dragon spent time together in his room doing gaming stuff, I think.

Everyone has gotten along famously so far and all are coexisting peaceably. The true test will be when things move to the bunk house at the Ranch and it is "lights out." Dragon is used to sleeping with his people but White Dog is not about to share that privilege here. Maybe it won't even be a problem (fingers crossed)!

Hi Siku,

I guess boys are like that. We are rowdy and loud. I drive my mom crazy when Im in a zoomies mode. I just run round and round until all my energy is burned.

Love,
Maxie
