White Dog was amazed there are over four million homeless dogs in this country. She knows from her brother, Quinn, and from dozens of other friends who were rescued that those involved in saving, transporting, fostering, vetting, caring for, retraining, and finding forever homes are unsung heroes. She also knows that providing second chances for those in need require money, and space, and food. Rescues and shelters have been flooded with displaced pets due to the economy, Katrina, and the Gulf disaster. Donations are down and the need is greatly increased; that is why we are supporting Pedigree Dog Food's Drive to provide food where it is most needed.

For every blog that posts about the PEDIGREE Adoption Drive through September 19th, PEDIGREE will donate a bag of their new Healthy Longevity Food for Dogs to shelters nationwide. It's very simple: write a post, help a dog. How pawesome is that?!

Thursday, September 16 through September 19, the PEDIGREE BlogPaws bloggers will host a Blog Hop, to help raise awareness for the "Write a post, help a dog" effort. That's it. Please share this with everybody. Write your own and go to Life With Dogs to leave a link to your post so Pedigree can find it and count it.
