October 21, 2010

White Dog and Quinn spent the morning at the Spa getting groomed and over pampered with treats as they caught up on the neighborhood four-legged gossip. They came home bright white and fluffy and soft as angora. White Dog shared the news that the roving tuxedo tom cat on the next block has apparently compromised two more outdoor lady cats. "Geez," she said, "I do not understand how their people let that happen. Why aren't they all fixed?" TOWD mentioned that Seven (the Groomer's Scottie) told him that another Eskie girl had recently come in for a makeover but that she was nipping and yippy, not at all ladylike like WD (Seven has had a crush on our girl for a very long time). Treat noshies and spa water are nice for socializing but both WD and TOWD were more than ready for a a more substantial roast beef sandwich and potato salad lunch...and then a nap...hey, White Dog adds, being groomed is hard work!"
White Dog and The Other White Dog want to just remind everyone that they are still looking for entries at Hansel's Hallowen Spooktacular Costumes and More Contests. There are some great prizes for costumes and even for those without. We encourage all of our Woofie friends (there is a definite shortage of contestants in the dog categories) to get creative and head over to join the fun. No slight to our kitty buddies, they have already responded with lots of clever photos...and we certainly would love to see even more!

hey Siku Marie and Quinn,

A day of grooming and gossip! I bet you two looked so pretty and fluffy when you left the Spa. Where is the photo?! Sounds relaxing, except for the bath part. Be careful of doggy gossip! I hope nothing was said about me. Of course, I do live pretty far away, but I know how gossip can travel! Just don't believe what you hear about me. They are just jealous. ;->

I agree, being groomed is hard work. Roast beef and potato salad sound like the pawfect treat after such a hard day.:) We enjoyed the last of the blueberry buckle tonight.:)

Love,
Teddy Bear

Mine are not happy to go to the groomers, mostly because they only go in to get their glands cleaned and nails trimmed

We think perhaps you've inspired Moma to give us a bath. And that means zoomies for all!

Briefly stopping by,
Your friends Jake and Fergi
