White Dog needed the help of The Other White Dog, Prinnie, Daisy, Digby and Atka to get everyone out the door on the way to this morning's Balloon Fiesta Mass Ascension at 5:00am. It was still dark and well, frankly, for some of the two-leggeds this is NOT their best time. But we pushed them out of the door gave woofs of hope that the flight would take off, checked the weather report one more time (looked good), and then found comfy places to settle in for a return to sleep. "Imagine getting up this early to go watch balloons," Digby harrumphed. "Sssshhhh, can't you see we are trying to sleep," murmured White Dog.

Here is what they saw at the launch site as the day broke:

That is so cool, we have a balloon festival here, but it isn't as big as this one. They are very pretty to watch floating by!

That must have been awesome to see. We had our first balloon festival here a few weeks ago. Everyone was so excited for it to happen. But Mother Nature did not cooperate and the balloons only ended up with two launches over the three day event:( But maybe next year will be better.

Hope you all enjoyed the balloons AND the big show.

Hi Everyone - it sounds like you all had a fantastic weekend. What an incredible sight! Thanks for the pictures.

We know that it's totally contrary to our nature, but we liked the winking cat balloon the best.

Hugs and yips,
Cappy and Ollie

The Balloon Fiesta was THE BEST thing we've ever seen. Mom showed us the pictures she and mommy took, and we loved all of the colors and funny balloons!

Love and kisses,
Prinnie
