White Dog and I realized that sometime during all of our entertaining that Autumn had arrived in Albuquerque. As we cuddled this morning (the first time in nearly a week that we had the luxury of our post breakfast ritual), we both realized that we were chilled sitting with the windows and front door wide open. The Other White Dog even came in from the porch to lay on the warmer carpet in the living room. But none of us is ready yet to surrender to Autumn's chilly touch or late rising sun so we refused to close the portals. Instead, I got the big comforter and wrapped White Dog and I in it; TOWD nested into the blanket overflow at my feet. Then cozy and warm, we watched the sun climb upward through the changing leaves and settled in for an Autumn morning nap.

Sounds perfect. Autumn naps are the best with the cool breeze blowing through. :)
