White Dog and the Nuka supervised every step of the preparations. Puff sniffed a bit and retreated to observe from the edge of the action. Quinn stuck his head in all of the bags, looked up at Michael asking "Really?" and quickly left when the flashie beast made an appearance. Shadow curiously flitted about taking in all of the newness. Shadow?
Oh yes, Shadow is Michael's new pet gerbil. A black girl living in the middle of the White Dog Army (well, actually, in his basement "Teen Boy" Cave).

A black gerbil!!?? Do they speak?
Do they type? How does this one feel about being in a White Dog Army? Could I have one of these for a pet of my own? I am quite gentle and do no damage to stuffees.
Hmmmm, Thanks for the idea!
Kisses,
Stella
OMC! OMC! We just got gerbils, too! We have had them just over a week, and I named mine Bert and Ernie.
A gerbil?? And a black one? Let's home there aren't more black ones to come or we will have the Black Army v. the White Army:)

Dear White dog Army,
My first pack, my dog mommy and five siblings, came from a pack that got several rats from the basement. Please tell Shadow to be carefull.

Ooo, a black gerbil! I hope the WDA don't think of it as a new treat or toy! BOL.

Dear Sally Ann and Pepsi,
Do not worry, Shadow lives downstowns in the basement in Michael's room, where we do not go and are not allowed (stairs are too steep for us). Mike cannot take her out of her aquarium until he has gentled her to come into his hand while it is in the cage AND THEN she goes in the little gerbil bubble/ ball. Remember too, we have had Sugar Gliders that everyone already respects.
OP Pack: Sounds kind of like a chess game, but momma is kind of firm that Shadow is going to be an only gerbil child.
Shadow is quite cute. We can't wait to learn more about her.:)

When Auntie Di and Unkhle Paul were young they had hamsters and gerbils -
One of the gerbils latched onto Mom's finger and wouldn't let go ;-(

Congrats to the new family member!
Wow, the white dogs look very similar to my sister Nala -- she's an American Eskimo mix and is a white/cream color. She also has longer legs and a pink nose! Woofs & hugs! ~Bailey
Aww..how cute! My nieces just got hamsters.
Welcome Shadow!
