White Dog and the rest of the Army piled into Pumpkin to take Michael to Watermelon Ranch, just like we do every Saturday morning. Quinn stared sighing out of the window as we backed down the driveway. The beautiful Daisy Mae and her family waved us off. They were going to do some exploring and investigate a Rescue Shelter that specializes in exotic birds. We were going to meet up with them later in the afternoon.

The Other White Dog must have asked a hundred times what we thought Daisy was doing at that particular moment as the day progressed. He pushed WD aside so he could see the console clock about 60 million. TOWD tried pacing but kept stepping on Puff who was trying to nap. On the hike, he practically ran, dragging poor Nuka along so that he could hurry the time along.

Finally, we returned home! TOWD rushed inside...but we had beaten our guests back to the Ranch. AWD and SAWD seized the opportunity to settle in for a post hike nap, and though he tried to fight it, Quinn also relaxed into a slumber...only to be awakened by Daisy Mae's gentle nose nudge. He was pink with embarrassment until she gently laid down next to him...then he was pink with nervousness.

It was time for the long awaited play date in our favorite Park! SAWD and AWD begged off claiming exhaustion (I think they could not bear to watch their brother's shy stuttering moves).

Everyone had a wonderful time...and Quinn earned another nuzzle of approval from his lady love. (And Yes, FiveSibes, he does run off and shyly hides at her forwardness)!
