White Dog and The Other White Dog leashed Steve up and headed out for their pre-bed neighborhood reconnaissance. When they hit the end of the driveway and turned, White Dog took off at a top speed run dragging Quinn and the human behind. Quickly, it was clear that she was trying to catch up to the man way down the street. Steve looked and didn't recognize the figure. WD let out barks of excitement and the man turned revealing the leash and dog on the end of it.

He was walking an Eskie! Another White Dog! On our very block! TOWD woofed in amazement. Had one of the sisters gotten out? We all know there are no other Eskies that live in our area. Steve was just as curious. The man must have also been curious at the sight of our two White Dogs because he stopped and waited for WD, TOWD and Steve to reach him.

Then it was Steve's turn to be amused at the smallness of our world...the man was a former student of Steve's! They had only recently moved ito our neighborhood. Koda was a rescue Eskie about White Dog's size. He was gentle and well behaved. In no time, he and WD were chatting up a storm.

The White Dogs visited a bit before the night's cold air forced the humans to resume the walks. "You just never know what to expect," White Dog muttered as she and her brother led Steve toward home.

How exciting to see another Eskie! We hope there will be a play date with Koda in the near future.:)

OH, how very exciting! You should have playdates every now and then! Sometimes, making the Monster angry is necessary to make sure he knows I'm the boss, hehehe.
