White Dog came to me early in the day with a special request. "The White Dog Army would like to have a dinner that will tempt GJ to eat more and get better quicker."

Ginger Jasper, our handsome orange kitty friend in England is familiar to most of our followers. He has been undergoing a mystery ailment that has taken away his appetite to the point of creating health issues. The White Dog Army sends healing energy and positive thoughts that he start eating again, the vet will figure out the trouble, and GJ will be headed back to well-being.

White Dog, The Other White Dog, Another White Dog, and Still Another White Dog felt that seeing photos of our dinner, planned just for him, might make him hungry enough to "chow down." So we checked the cupboards and went to the market and prepared this special meal to delight and entice: soft cheese on bits of rustic loaf, a mixed salad topped with smoked salmon strips, jumbo sea scallops sauteed with prawns in butter and garlic, spaghetti with pesto sauce. Capping off things was vanilla custard with pomegranates.

"We are doing this for GJ," Quinn mumbled as he slurped his pasta. "So he feels better," added Nuka who had a shrimp tail dangling out of her mouth. Puff swallowed the scallop bulging in her cheek before adding, "Think he's hungry yet?" TOWD grabbed a piece of salmon from the floor and went out to help WD and Steve prepare dessert. "Nothing is better for healing than custard," White Dog advised. "Ginger Jasper is going to be drooling...hope his mum has stocked up the larder."

That is just so sweet of the Army to do that for GJ. We've been purring and purring for our pal too. If I thought it would help I'd hop a plane and take some yummy stuff over myself. We all love that GJ and I'm sure that will be so tempting...come GJ have some bites!

We're hungry and drooling ... so GJ must be at least a little bit so.

We were so glad to read that he is beginning to eat at least a little bit more. He is a special kittie with a special muma (we're trying ... in preparation for the wedding day). We are glad that the healing energies from the White Dog Army are headed his way, 'cause we know how much goodness and strength you carry with you.

Much love. Happy Saturday.

Oh my cat look at all those goodies. How can I thank you for this. Mum has been giving me prawns and cream cheese and dad went out and bought a huge bag of prawns for me. With all my friends around the world purring, woofing and praying for me mum says I must get better. I thank you so much. Lots of love. GJ xx

Four more plates, please - we are all on our way with Mom - if THAT doesn't entice GJ to eat, we don't know what will.

Great post - and we know it was done with so much love.

That sure is nice of you guys.

GJ sure has us worried and we hope he will be okay. It sure does sound a lot like when our cat had a liver disease, we couldn't get him to eat and they had to put in a feeding tube.
