White Dog helped Michael write thank you notes today. She was very proud of him because he requested that instead of graduation gifts that anyone wishing to honor him make a donation to the rescue where he volunteers. Our kind and generous friends and heart family sent over $100 to Watermelon Mountain Ranch in his name. WD was delighted to help him acknowledge the thoughtfulnesses but it also got us to thinking about friends and people we care about and the passage of time.

Many of you may have seen this on FB but we think it is a beautiful and touching reminder. Please watch until the end...then wipe the tears of happiness from your eyes and pick up the phone:

Wow that video was amazing and insane. And yeah I did get teary from it.

And honestly I also got teary at Michael's wonderful thoughtful gesture of asking for donations for the rescue instead of presents. What a sweet wonderful thing to do!

That was so amazing. I could barely watch through my tears. :) Isn't love the most amazing power on Earth, no matter where it comes from or who recieves it.

That was beautiful. Thank you for showing. I hadn't seen it.

How sweet of Michael to ask for donations. What a beautiful gift for others.

Thank you again for sharing.

That is a very beautiful video and indeed made the tears come. But they were happy tears. How he remembered that they rescued him and set him free. Beautiful and touching. Michael did a wonderful thing and once again shows how much he has blossomed in your care. Michael you rock.. Hugs GJ xx
