White Dog tapped me and whispered in my ear this morning...as if I would forget. She gathered everyone into the bedroom (except for Quinn who is still a bit shy about being hemmed in by the entire Army in close quarters).He stood in the doorway; Nuka stood right next to the sleeping boy and Puff sat against his side. At White Dog's signal everyone woofed and crooned "Happy Two Month Gotcha Day, YoYoMa!"
The startled YAWD jumped to his feet, confused and rushed over to press against me for reassurance. "It is OK, big boy, it is just our way of saying how glad we are that you came to live with us!" Steve leaned over and ruffled YoYoMa's mane. "Mr. Ma, can you believe it has been two whole months already? But then again sometimes it seems like you have always been here." YoYoMa sat and beamed his happiness, ignoring Nuka singing in hyper speed in his ear and WD barking orders for everyone to settle down to hear her speech.
Chaos ensued as we all nuzzled and cuddled and hugged and shared...even Quinn bravely stepped in at the edge of the fray for a bit of family love. And in the middle of it all, sat YoYoMa, our newest WDA member, looking for all the world like he KNEW he was home forever!
