White Dog and the rest of the White Dog Army realized that this was the last day of the extended Thanksgiving holiday weekend and that Steve would be returning to his regular schedule tomorrow. Additionally, we experienced our first below freezing temperatures here in the city last night which prompted a gigantic "Fall" Day when all of the remaining leaves dropped from the trees en mass. So we had no choice but to all hop in the van (in the afternoon, once the sun had warmed things up enough for the momma's thin skin) and head to the Park where we could enjoy plowing through the leaves, prancing to make them crackle, and sniffing the rich earthy mustiness.

Congratulations to those who correctly guessed that the Top 5 Pizza Consumption Days were: The Saturday after Thanksgiving, Super Bowl Sunday, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day, and Halloween (that one surprised us)! We have some pups and kitties in our community who really know their pizza lore...and the rescues they choose will be grateful for their knowledge.

hey White Dog Army,

Woofs, I was WAY off on the pizza quiz! One out of four is a big "F." Time to hit the books and stop lollygagging all day dreaming of chasing bunnies! Congratulations to the winners!

Who are the two beauties in their lovely sweaters? :->

Looks like you pups had a very fun adventure! Glad you were able to get out and enjoy all the crunchy leaves and the warmth of the sun's rays. But I am sure the best part was just being with your humans!

Hi Everybuddy, looks like fun times with the leaves. The sad thing about holidays is when they are over. Oh well, Christmas is coming. Yippee. No worries, and love, Stella and Rory

Y'all are sure having fun! I wouldn't have guessed the day after Thanksgiving either but it makes sense!

I've been away from the computer for a while... but I just caught up on WDA happenings. I'm glad that Quinn hasn't had more seizures. We had a seizure dog years ago, and he lived to the age of 16 (old for a lab!). At first, we had to control them with meds and then we were able to wean him off the meds with no bad effects.

I hope that Quinn's seizures were a one-time affair.

Happy Thanksgiving to you.

What fun to play with the leaves - the only ones we ever get are those that sneak in the front door sometimes.

We never would have guessed Halloween, but we suppose it makes sense. :)

Oh yes, we love fall days, too. Unfortunately, all our leaves are wet and musty from the weekend's rain. They really are the most fun when they are crunchy. And yes, the holiday is over and my peeps have returned to work and school ...no fun for me.

Your pal, Pip

Suka,
The White One in the black t-shirt (nice combination don't you think?) is SAWD, Puff...and That is Nuka (AWD) in her favorite pink coat (if dad would let her she would wear it year-round)! And it is Quinn standing in the leaves and YoYoMa defending his stick...I am helping dad frame up the shots.

Prancing and dancing all over the crunchy leaves sounds fun to us! We're glad you were all able to get out there, and enjoy the day. :)

Wow, that is so cool that we got that pizza trivia correct. I remembered reading an article about a year ago, and remembered New Year's Eve and Day, the Saturday post-Thanksgiving, and Super Bowl Sunday. But I totally guessed about Halloween (but there *was* logic to my guess).

Yes, you're right ... we'd love for the donation to go to PAWS in Norwalk, CT. :)

Thank you, and have a wonderful day.

Hugs to you all,

Kevin, Tracey, Sammy and Moosey

Wow, Andy is just taken aback with all the white fluff in the pictures. Pizza, I love pizza. Opps, I guess I missed that. Oh, Andy wants you to look at our blog. He needs a certain size measurment from you. I told him it was far to serious, but he said; she is pretty and she deserves it. Well, talk to you later.

Awesome! Halloween was the stumper for sure and we thought of a dozen other days before we guessed that. Puzzles are great.

And, you guessed correctly. Sarge's Animal Rescue Foundation does such fantastic work and has totally changed the euthanasia rate at our rural shelter. Much work to be done, so your generosity will go a long ways. Thank you.
