White Dog and the rest of the White Dog Army decided that after a weekend of celebrating that a Moping Around Monday was needed...time to nap and do nothing more than complain the mailman was late. Sure, there were some treats to be had and some supervising of dad's cooking this week's pup meals to do (a mix of mackerel and bits of beef with barley joining the brown rice, green beans, spinach, carrots, blueberries and brocolli), but for the most part there was nothing too taxing on the schedule.

It was a low-key day, a chance to catch up on things happing in the blogworld, and an opportunity to help spread the word about a couple of our friends in need...

One of our Cat Blogosphere community lost everything in a deadly fire last week. Fortunately, Sebastian and his family made it out safely, but other pets in their apartment building did not. There's a Chip In to help them get back on their feet. Please donate if you can and certainly, please visit to leave words of support.

Our friend Rottrover reports that sweet Miinie (a rottie mix) from If I Didn't Have a Sense
of Humor
needs to get ACL surgery on BOTH of her knees. The cost is an astronomical $2000 EACH knee. If you can, please contribute to Minnie's surgery via the chip-in on Rottrover's blog. If you are unable to do so at this time, please drop by Barbara's blog and offer her a little humor. We know how much your support can help during a difficult time.

The WDA appreciates your help and emotional support...it is two of the things that we hold most dear about this family of bloggers...we are there for each other.

So very sad, but we are glad Sebastian and his family made it out safely. Poor Minnie. We just know the amazing pet blogging community will rally to provide help and emotional support for both families.

Glad that your friend made it out okay. Fires are so awful. :(

Days where you do nothing at all are some of the best days around. :)
