White Dog had a long talk yesterday with Steve about her personal fitness and her need for more "Dad and Me" time. So this morning, after Steve and YoYoMa returned from their run, White Dog snapped on her leash. She and Steve did their own circuit of the block...running a bit...strolling and chatting...sniffing the morning fresh flowers. It gave Steve a chance to cool down from the more strenuous exercise as he and his Baby Girl shared a little special time.

When they got back, White Dog rejoined me on the bed for a little snuggle time while Steve showered. Upon his return, she climbed up on his chest, face into the window fan's breeze, and shut her eyes, totally calm and blissfully happy!

I looked over her to see Oso curled up on the floor next to Steve. I heard YoYoMa gently snoring at the bottom of the bed. Puff and Nuka slept side-by-side against the dresser. Quinn slumbered in the bedroom doorway. The White Dog Army all together, about to start the day! I stretched and smiled a greeting to the Universe which has so richly blessed us.

I love the way you started your day.
Sometimes in the early morning as I lay in bed, my eyes peek at the sky through the open window. I see the clouds painted in the sky,, and I say good morning clouds. And then I see the sun rays and I say good morning to the sun.
We all have our ways, but I just love the way you start your day.
