White Dog, The Other White Dog, Another White Dog, Still Another White Dog, Yet Another White Dog, and Oh, Another White Dog salute and honor one of the bravest Warriors we have ever known. Although K from Romping and Rolling in the Rockies lost her life to the evil c monster, she won the battle by providing inspiration to us all about how to live fully in the now, with dignity and quiet determination. The monster never conquered her! She will live forever beyond the grasp of this horrible disease.

It is for K and her aching family and all of us who have felt the icy touch of cancer in our lives that we are resolved to see the day when cancer.touches.no one. It is for K that we will Walk to End Cancer in September and November...and we know she will be there with us. Valiantly. Defiantly. Courageously. Just like in life.

We heard this morning about K and our kitty friend Alex as well. We got all leaky and mom is still having to reach for the tissues as she reads the tributes. We are glad you will be walking for K and all those that are dealing with the evil C.

You have been a pure, compassionate, and strong voice for me through this journey. I often read and re-read your comments because they touched my heart so deeply.

I cannot thank you enough for your support and your incredible strength.

Today is Morning #3 without K. The mornings are the hardest. I finally slept last night for the first time since her death, and then I woke up and realized that she really wasn't next to me. My heart hurts and it will for a long time.

Your friendship means the world to me. Thank you.
