White Dog and the rest of the White Dog Army are sending extra White Dog healing energies to Poppy Vic from Zoolatry who is facing some tough challenges in his fight with the c monster right now.

So many of our blog community are Warriors, Survivors, or have a Hero fallen to the evil beast. It breaks our hearts to see so much pain and grief and suffering. We started our personal War to End Cancer because of the loss of my mentor aunt and our special Sheltie girl, Sheena, but we are driven to fight harder and stronger because of the number of our Blog family who inspire us with their courage and determination.

We would like to honor those in our community who are involved personally in the battle, have a loved one who is, or who support the War. One of the most significant features of the Walks to End Cancer that we are organizing (yes, TWO this year) is our Tribute Wall. The Wall is a place to remember and share the faces and stories of all who Walk with us in spirit...to send a supportive message...a focus of hopeful energy.

Many of you joined us on the Tribute Wall last year and you will come along with us again because we will never forget. Your stories and photos moved attendees to tears and created a sacred ground from which our Walk started. It was tremendously moving and truly reminded EVERYONE of why we Walked.

The White Dog Army asks our Blog Family to join with us by sending your photo and story of how cancer has touched your life. Two or four-legged, we wish to show the world that the battle is at hand...and it is a battle that we MUST and CAN win!

Please add your voice and image to our Wall. Send your Memorial or Tribute to us at: sehismith@aol.com and we will be sure to add it to those brave heroes with whom we proudly Walk. Thank you for sharing this important moment.

Because cancer.touches.everyone.
And we dare to dream of a day when cancer.touches.NOone!

Hi White Dog Army, you have an amazing family for sure. The support you give others is just wonderful. We hate the C monster too cause our brother Oscar fought him for five months. Sadly he did not win but he was very brave and lived his life to the fullest. Take care all. No worries, and love, Stella and Rory P.S. Thank you so much for your kind words when our Poppa passed away. You gave mum comfort. x x

This horrible disease has touched almost everyone I know in one way or the other. And right now we're thankful for every day that our Benji can still give us. According to the vet, it was predicted that Benji would only live two months at the most after diagnosis in March. Amazingly his fight goes on 5 months later. But we know his time will come much sooner than we want it to. Right now each day is a gift.

You are tireless warriors, WDA. Thank you for your spirit and determination. I, sadly, have another one for the wall. When I have the heart, I'll send something your way.

We're thinking of PV.
