White Dog and The Other White Dog called Steve aside after dinner and suggested that since the entire White Dog Army has been working triple time on getting things ready for the Walk to End Cancer (which is now less than one month away) AND had supervised his work on an architecture project this afternoon that maybe they all deserved some of the butcher round bones that were just lying for a good occasion in the freezer. I think they were shocked when he agreed and they followed him out to collect them.

Steve slipped WD and TOWD theirs first. WD quietly disappeared behind the chair as he began distributing the cold luscious chews to Nuka, Puff, YoYoMa, and Oso. The response was first surprise and then swoon as they dropped right then and there and began a gnaw-a-thon that lasted nearly an hour. Then like a dream, the well worked bones were collected and the treat was done. The memory of the moment lingered in the smells on the carpet and the beefy taste on the tongue.

The White Dog Army hopes your Saturday was as rewarding.
