White Dog and the rest of the WDA barely opened eyes when we left before 7am for my doctor's appointment (just the annual physical which I "passed" with flying colors). But when we returned a little over an hour later, everyone was up and looking for breakfast...blueberry pancakes as Steve had promised last night in a very late night moment of delirium. But he kept his word and they were delicious, we all agreed.
The Army wanted play time but Steve had a full morning of client commitments that chained him to his computer and I was not the player of choice. I tried not to be hurt when I waggled the flamingo stuffie and asked, "who wants to play tug or get it?" and the White Ones all walked out of the room to lie in the office by Steve.
Out of boredom YoYoMa brought most of the contents of the toybox out to the living room and with the help of Puff systematically began destuffing them. They have two very different methods: YAWD nibbles aways at the seams until they pop open to reveal the fluff; SAWD grabs the poor toy and gnashes (like Gollum) tearing and ripping until it bleeds stuffing. She may look pretty and dainty in her little pink t-shirt but she is ruthless at eviscerating squeakers and pulling out tufts of batting.
In an effort to save her childhood toys, most left in the toybox in pretty good condition before the WDA appeared, White Dog gathered the ones abandoned or overlooked by her murderous siblings and put them carefully on the couch where no one goes but she.
I tell them all to just be patient one more day and that Thursday and Friday will be full of active excitement and I get wags of anticipation. I just hope that in the throes of an already overflowing Wednesday that it will be enough to get them through. We are all so very restless.

There is no wrong way to de-stuff.
Blessings,

I think I am quite fortunate that my girlz don't de-stuff very often. Every now and then Chloe will when she gets bored...or mad at me! Happy Thanksgiving to you!! xoxo Chloe and LadyBug
Me and brudder Max (DaOdderWeenie) have two different reactions to stuffies. I like to cuddle with them and Max likes to kill them, de-gut them, and rip them limb from limb. That's a boy for you!
Happy Thanksgiving!
Have a fun de-stuffing day everyone!
Our stuffie collection has been depleted - all due to one Jaws of Steel boy:( But one day maybe he will stop chewing and then we can get some new ones. Meanwhile hard balls and bones seem to do the trick.
Hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving Day.

Tasha uses the Gollum method for her destuffing!
Have a blessed and Happy Thanksgiving! Thrilled that you passed your physical!
Love the pink jacket
