White Dog and Quinn and the rest of the White Dog Army are Thursday Thankful for all of the lovely Gotcha Day wishes you left for The Mighty One. For his part, he enjoyed bacon and a cheese omelet for breakfast and our celebratory dinner was spaghetti and meatballs, a recreation of the first human meal Quinn ever shared with us. Becks, Josh and the poodle girls arrived bearing "dessert," beef marrow bones.
After a day of celebrating The Other White Dog takes a much needed nap to recuperate.
The WDA is already gearing up for Michael's 21st birthday on Saturday!
The best news is that because so many of you took the time to stop by and make The Other White Dog feel like the King of the World, The Five Sibes "Live Gib Strong" campaign to raise awareness about canine epilepsy will be receiving sixty-five dollars! The Five Sibes and their human work tirelessly to spread the word that epilepsy does not mean the end of life; they provide resources and connections to educate, answer questions, and bring hope.
They were there for us when Quinn first started displaying his complex focal seizures with knowledge and reassurance. The Mighty Quinn just beams every time he thinks of all the other epi-dogs and their families who will benefit from your kindness to him. Thank you from all of our floofy White Hearts!
