April 8, 2013

White Dog sat smiling with her head on my shoulder as we wrote. "Despite what humans say, Mondays aren't ALWAYS bad," she said. "For us this was a pretty good day. Dad only had to go into work for a couple of hours. He is all caught up on school work. It was a perfect weather day. AND there were no traumas or emergencies."

"For the last, Little White Dog of My Heart, I am extremely grateful," I replied. And it was a good day.
Quinn (back to normal after his poop over indulgence) and Oso caught up on much needed sleep.
Nuka returned from Dr. Julia hydrated and with much better kidney values...
And she ate most of her dinner as well as hit the water bowl a couple of times on her own.
White Dog and YoYoMa (both blowing coat like prize winners) sat still long enough for a thorough brushing and were looking pretty darn good when they collected the treat bribes they had been promised.
Puff protected the stuffing from the Pony stuffie under her belly to keep
Steve from taking it away as he did with the remains of the one-legged equine
Like White Dog said, Monday's sometimes surprise us humans; this was one we were all very happy to share!

So glad to hear things were looking up on Monday. And good that it wasn't a 'blue Monday'.
