October 15, 2013

White Dog shook her head. "They are going to think something horrible has happened, Momma! We have not posted in DAYS! Why are you doing this to me?"

I took her in my arms. "Do not fret so. I believe all of our friends will understand and forgive us. It is not entirely my fault, dear one." She relaxed a bit at my promise to catch up tonight.

Sunday we prepared a lovely post about the White Dog Army's day of rest and our trip out to the Park. Balloon Fiesta ended on Saturday and this was our first venture out into public; Albuquerque natives tend to avoid being out and about too much during the Fiesta days which bring thousands of visitors to crowd our favorite places. But Blogger seemingly did not like our post and refused to actually publish it; finally it disappeared forever into the cyber-ethers. By that point I was too frustrated and angry to start anew...maybe someday it will just randomly appear.

Monday White Dog and I had a busy day working on the Cancer Warrior Candle Light Vigil. There are lots of tasks that go into putting together an Event including writing lists, creating fliers, generating press releases and more. Most of those tasks require a computer...and a keyboard that actually types all of the letters. About halfway through the day mine decided that "W"s and "S"s were no longer necessary when communicating in English. During the day I stole Steve's keyboard but in the evening (when WD and I blog) Steve required its use to work on his homework.

This morning, Tuesday, we went bright and early for two essentials...a new grinder to replace the coffee grinder that died...and a computer keyboard. Life is once again good!

A storm rolled in this afternoon turning the day grey, cold and windy. Steve had promised to spend extra time with the White Dog Army when he got home from work in the late afternoon. His thought had been a romp in the Park. The rain and wind cancelled that plan, forcing the pack into Steve's Plan B...

Mom lost an L and a P and discovered the wonders of a quick hook-up keyboard that actually typed better than the one on the computer. But now she has a new super computer and her fingers go flying. But has she translated that into a new blog post for me???? Guess not.

Just glad I'm not alone in this deprivation.

Hi Eskie Pals!

I can understand your annoyance with Google and your computer, because I have been dealing with the same thing. I have to be in very good humor to want to type a post, look for pics, arrange them, watch to see all get dis-arranged!

So we will just keep on posting, wheneverly, and hope for the best!

Cheers and hugs to all humans and furry kids ,

Jo, Stella and Zkhat

Yes, the techy monster gets around, but we are glad all is okay!

Darn that technology stuff! Can't live with or without it, huh? We are glad the day ended well, though. :)
