The rest came to us grown, with more life experiences than any pup deserves. Many were denied any childhood, pressed into immediate breeding service, never having toys, never romping in joyful discovery of the world. For them we have no "baby" pictures but new life photos of the day they joined the White Dog Army and hopefully found opportunities to touch, however briefly, their inner child. We certainly have laughed and delighted and shared (sometimes with tears rolling) those moments that SHOULD have happened to them long ago...first taste of ice cream...walking on grass..zoomies.
On National Puppy Day, White Dog, Zsofia and I salute our puppies that had to wait.

Happy Puppy Day, beloved WDA pals. Even though some of you had to wait, we are glad you are in a home and family where you are experiencing a life of love.
