White Dog agreed that Tizenegy HAS been quieter in the night as was our observation. "He seems to cough fewer times," she said, "and he sleeps soundly."

Tizenegy has been having trouble since early Spring with a nagging cough that Dr. Julia has looked at and tested lungs, trachea, blood, nose, and allergies. It is not constant, just a couple of times a day, mostly at night. None of the tests showed issues so our beloved vet has been reluctant to prescribe medication beyond the "every now and then" benedryl...and we are adverse to overplaying that relief as well.

Tiz got a present in the mail from our thoughtful friends, Andy, Sally and their mom Lisa. "We thought maybe this might help you at night," their message said. Inside we discovered a small personal humidifier in the shape of a cute white kitty.

The gift sent us in a new direction...one of adding moisture and soothing eucalyptus to our dry desert air. There space that holds Steve's CPU had the perfect amount of room at nearly ground level where the device would safely and snuggly fit. It is right next to the corner of Tizenegy's bed.

So we filled it, plugged it in and gave it a go. It has been about five nights now and I have only heard my old man cough one night. WD has confirmed that there is an improvement.
Tiz's favorite part? The softly changing colors of his new night light that helps keep him clear.
