White Dog did not condone Bailey's latest act of counter robbery but I could tell that she DID have a tiny glimmer of envy as her sister, mouth filled with the remaining half steak, leaped over sleeping Roman and rushed out of the dog door.

Steve had been thinly slicing the beef for Korean bulgogi and caught his finger with the knife. He pushed everything to the way back on the counter before going into the bathroom to clean the cut and apply a bandage. That was opportunity seized.

When Bailey came back inside licking her lips and surrounded by jealous siblings wanting to sniff White Dog DID manage to reprimand her with, "Really, Bai? Taking advantage of dad's being injured? That is so not cool!"
