White Dog takes her duties as Steve's errand partner very seriously especially since I am homebound and she must take on the additional tasks of navigator and official "shotgun."

She and Steve have a secret code to keep the rest of the White Dog Army from causing a fuss. Steve touches the keys in his pocket and gives her a flick of his head toward the door. they move to join up on the sunporch ahead of Army awareness. He opens the front and van doors as she quickly slips out while he says his "be back soons" to the rest of the pack. Then he joins gets in the car. Both strap in and head down the drive to the song of the WDA.

They are expected, when they return, to offer themselves for sniffs and greetings...and then oversee "Glad we are back; we missed you all" noshes.
