Despite swarms of unfamiliar people all over in front of the house and on the driveway; the routine upsetting early wakeup to set up and organize volunteers; and hours of Steve standing right outside the windows shaking hands and thanking strangers the WDA kept their calm.
There was LOTS of watching...just in case.
There was extra momma protection in case anyone tried to sneak in through the dog door...
There were post sale treats, of course...
There were some VERY tired pups. So tired that at 5pm they were not even worrying about "normal" treat time.
