White Dog and I had just gotten off of the phone from a long conversation with our British friend who lives in Santa Fe. "She has such a lovely accent," WD commented, "and you two could talk for days if given the chance." "It is nice that we can hear each other's voices," I responded. "although I love our penpal relationship. It is hard to find someone who enjoys the old-fashioned joy of letter writing and snail mail delivery."
"In her call she mentioned cream in her tea. You never drink it like that." "I think it is something peculiar to the English," I explained. "It actually sounded pretty good," WD said. "Is that a hint that would like to try it?"
White Dog wagged her tail. "Let's put the kettle on as they say and you can try out that special Andy and Siku mug that your beloved sent you."
