White Dog snorted, "Finally." Bella seemed to be missing and we searched all over the house and yard to our Tiny Dancer. She was in none of her usual spots nor was she curled up in a corner or under my desk.

Long ago, when Zsofia was expected to arrive as a pup, I purchased smallish crate to be her "bedroom." Steve laughed at me when we brought her home; clearly the puppy sized sleeping spot was meant for some other pup than a Sibe.

Then Sachi came along and I hoped he would use and enjoy it. But he screamed when crated and we quickly found that the little blue "house" was not even good for time out. For him. So the crate became Steve's nightstand next to our bed and on occasion one pup or another would hide a treat in there; otherwise it was ignored. None of the WDA fits the little suite.

Except. Bella. No one ever considered that Bella might be interested in the little room. She spent many years hiding under the momma chair but to sleep at night she always mashed herself up in the most awkward looking positions on the floor. She sometimes naps in the big crates or now, in the middle of the living room. But she DOES sometimes seek out tight spaces in the office or the mat hidden by the toy boxes. It makes her feel safe, I think, when she is feeling confused or shaky.

It seems she has discovered the tiny ignored blue crate hidden out of the traffic of the Army and against the cool outer wall. And there she was found snoring softly. Maybe the "Baby" bed has finally found some pup to claim it for their own..
