White Dog gently told Steve, "when it was just momma working from home she NEVER asked us to all be quiet at once for a VERY long time. And I am sure if she did she would have offered us an incentive to stay busy and quiet."

Steve was expected to participate in a conference call, jammed full of participants, which required his ability to hear clearly and to concentrate. Between earbuds and the mute button he was pretty confident that things would go smoothly but he wanted a little insurance. After all, we live in 1000square feet and shutting a door results in a much louder song coming from those trapped on the other side.

Being of a certain age and level of experience, Steve understood what White Dog was trying to tell him about quiet incentives. He called the WDA together.

"So, who would like a nice long lasting chew stick?"
The others took their treasures and went out to enjoy the treats in the warm spring sunlight.

Steve's call was noiseless and completed before anyone came in to ask for seconds (the requests which were denied). The VERY long time quiet was required? A bit over 18 minutes.
