"White Dog has been out in the yard a LONG time. Maybe you should go out and check to see if she is OK," I said to Steve as he came in to have breakfast. WD usually joins us as she keeps the momma's schedule unlike her siblings who are, like Steve, early risers.
Steve set the plates on the counter and went out to the yard. WD is usually one to go out and quickly accomplish her mission so this was out of the ordinary enough to set my spidey-sense tingling.
In just a few minutes they came into the bedroom with breakfast. "Let's show momma what you were doing Baby Girl," he said as WD settled next to me on the bed.
Steve explained. "I went out and did not see White Dog at first and thought oh no! But then there was a white streak. The Little White Dog of Your Heart was doing zoomies up and down along the wall! I had to convince her to come in."
I put my arm around White Dog. "You ARE feeling better, aren't you! This makes me so very happy. Long may you run!"
