White Dog whispered in Tizenegy's ear, "Be patient. It won't hurt and there are treats when you are done." With that, Tiz bowed his head and let Steve buckle on the muzzle.

Our shaggy boy had some matted areas in his long unruly furs; he, unlike Opal, does not enjoy the brush. Steve gathered the electric shaver, the scissors and the nail clippers...and the treat container. We spread out a soft blanket. We put Tiz on his side and I wrapped my arm over his neck and locked my thumb on his collar. "You are a very brave, Baby Boy," I told him. "Just lean against me and this will all be over in no time. Then you will look handsome AND get treats...just you."
As promised, the process took less than ten minutes. The muzzle was removed and Tiz received his treats. Then Steve gently helped him down. Our Boy gave a quick look over his shoulder and dashed off to the safety of his bed.
I heard White Dog ask, "It was worth it, wasn't it?"
