White Dog quietly stood just outside the dog door and silently watched her brother.

"Roman can be so intense," she said as she came back inside. "He is the perfect Hamlet. That is what he is doing out there...practicing putting on his character as he calls it. Momma, this is so much fun! It gives us something to focus on besides the heat, the darned firecrackers, and the horrible headlines."
