White Dog looked around the room and laughed. "I TOLD them last night to listen to dad and just sleep in but no, everyone HAD to get up at five in the morning, before the sun, to see dad to the door. NOW look at them!"

It was Steve to the rescue when our friend called last night needing a ride to and from work. She begins her shift at 7am so Steve agreed to be to her home by 6:30...which meant he had to leave OUR house by 6 so he had to allow time to brew coffee and get ready.

Everyone save White Dog and I felt the need to waken with him and take potty breaks, try to convince him that it WAS breakfast...then to wait at the windows until he returned.
