White Dog ushered all of the White Dog Army into the yard. "All we have done for three days is eat and nap. It is a beautiful day, let's go out and help dad in the yard. We could all use some exercise and fresh air."
She was greeted by moans. "It is almost treat time." "I just got comfortable." "Doesn't Christmas last TWELVE days?" Steve was already outside when WD herded the last straggler through the dog door and down the ramp.
"Where's Opal?" somepup complained. "How come SHE does not have to come out?" White Dog gave a look then pointed to the dog door. "Opal is right there. Sitting inside the door torn between coming out with us and protecting momma. We know she has separation issues about being out of momma's sight. Let's be charitable and think she is having a clingy moment. Besides, we are almost done then we can all go inside for 'Helper' treats."

We are glad you got outside, WDA. And we love how well you care for each other, letting Opal stay with Momma. Love to you all.
