White Dog has a lot more company now that a gate is no longer needed at the office door to keep Bella safe. Across the past few days, I noticed that the "momma pack," those supervising me in the bedroom as I work has begun to drift off. Even Roman has taken up a space just inside the office door.

Poor Opal is feeling a bit of pressure attempting to man the Watching Chair in the living room AND checking on momma.

So now I am reduced to reading headlines aloud to my self and my pithy commentary has become the ramblings of a solitary old woman. Maybe I should keep a supply of treats on my cart for "hang with me" bribes?
